13th December 2018 : PhD positions in Soft Matter in the Department of Mathematics at University of Bristol

the Department of Mathematics at the University of Bristol invites
applicants for PhD positions to start in fall 2019.

There is a strong theoretical Soft matter and Fluids group in the
department, which specialises in areas including active fluids and
materials, fluid singularities, crystallisation kinetics, water
anomalies, granular materials and finally the mechanics of cell sheets.

In addition, there are also number of active collaborations with
experimentalists in the departments of Physics, Chemistry, Biochemistry,
Physiology, Neuroscience, and Biology in the group.
