23rd November 2020 : Postdoc positions in theoretical biological physics at Peking University

Dear Colleagues,

Applications are invited for two postdoc positions in theoretical
biological physics, to work with Prof. Jie Lin in the Center for
Quantitative Biology at Peking University in Beijing, China
(http://cqb.pku.edu.cn/teacher/index.php/Home/Index/detail_eng?tid=17
).
Potential research directions include but not limited to (1)
coarse-grained modeling of gene expression, (2) active matter and phase
separation, (3) microbial population and evolution dynamics, (4) cell
size regulation.

The positions are expected to be two years long with internationally
competitive salaries. An extension of duration is possible depending on
satisfactory performance. Candidates should have a Ph.D. degree in
physics, mathematics, or other related fields by the beginning of the
postdoc appointment, and those with good knowledge of statistical
physics, biophysics, numerical simulations are preferred. Applicants are
encouraged to send their curriculum vitae to jielinphysics@gmail.com
with at least two names of references
for recommendation letters.

Best,
