year for positions at the Assistant Professor level:

2)  Experimental Biophysics person

*Faculty Position in Theoretical Soft Matter Physics at Emory University*

The Department of Physics at Emory University invites applications for a
tenure-track faculty position at the assistant professor level in
Theoretical Physics, to begin in September 2019 or later.  We are
particularly interested in applicants with research interests in soft
matter, nonlinear and/or statistical physics, and who will benefit from
and complement our Department’s strengths in these fields.  For a

Applicants must have a PhD in physics or a closely related field,
postdoctoral training, and a proven record of research accomplishments.
 The successful candidate will be expected to establish an
independent, internationally recognized and externally funded research
program, and demonstrate excellence in teaching at both undergraduate
and graduate levels. He or she will have access to the state-of-the art
research facilities maintained by the Department of Physics and other
research support centers at Emory, as described at

The Department of Physics at Emory University invites applications for a
tenure-track assistant professor position in experimental biophysics,
with the appointment starting in September 2019. We welcome applications
from outstanding candidates in all areas of experimental biophysics.
Applicants whose research complements and bridges the existing
strengths in experimental biophysics in the Department are particularly
encouraged to apply.
Applicants must have a Ph.D. in physics, biophysics, or a closely
related field, postdoctoral experience, and a proven track record of
