9th March 2020 : Postdoc – Biological Physics Theory – Carnegie Mellon University

Dear Colleagues,

One postdoc position is available in my research group at Carnegie
Mellon. I am looking for candidates with a strong background in
theoretical modelling of biological systems, soft matter and/or
statistical physics to work on problems at the interface of physics and
biology. There is flexibility in the topic of research. Interests of the
group ranges from active soft matter to the physics of cytoskeleton,
organelles, tissues and bacterial systems. Prospective candidates are
encouraged to browse through recent publications from the group.

Applicants should have (or be about to receive) a PhD in physics,
applied mathematics, engineering, or a related field of experience.

Informal queries are welcome [Email: shiladtb@andrew.cmu.edu
