A postdoctoral position (12+12 months) is open in September at the
Institute Light and Matter (ILM), Université Lyon 1. The project concerns
atomistic modeling of near field thermal transport across nanoscale
gaps between solids (transition thermal conduction-radiation at small
scales). A more detailed description of the project may be obtained on
request (see also www.smerabia.net). Ideal candidate has a PhD in
physics/physical chemistry/material science, strong experience in
atomistic calculations (molecular dynamics and/or ab-initio calculations),
nanoscience, programming, enthusiasm and scientific curiosity. Please
